Before investing, check the CVM

Anyone offering investments to the public in Brazil must be registered with the Securities Commission (CVM), which publishes alerts about unauthorised companies and websites. Fixed daily returns, a WhatsApp group with a “teacher” and a fee to release a withdrawal are the most common signs.

On December 3, 2025, the CVM's Superintendence of Market and Intermediary Relations issued Declaratory Act No. 24,485 concerning Magnum International Markets Limited, which operates under the Intermagnum brand and the site intermagnum.com.

The act declares to the market and the public that the company is not authorized by this Agency to solicit clients residing in Brazil, as it is not part of the distribution system set out in art. 15 of Law No. 6,385 of 1976. The regulator ordered the immediate suspension of any public offering, whether direct or indirect, to investors residing in Brazil, under a daily fine of R$ 1,000.00, without prejudice to liability for prior violations. The CVM's news release of December 5, 2025 restates the order.

What the act supports, and what it does not

The act supports the statement that the CVM found evidence of the conduct described and that the company lacks the authorization required for it. The act does not say that a scam occurred, or that anyone lost money. This page documents the regulator's warning and will document vetted reports as they come in.
