Before investing, check the CVM

Anyone offering investments to the public in Brazil must be registered with the Securities Commission (CVM), which publishes alerts about unauthorised companies and websites. Fixed daily returns, a WhatsApp group with a “teacher” and a fee to release a withdrawal are the most common signs.

On December 4, 2025, the CVM's Superintendence of Market and Intermediary Relations published Declaratory Act No. 24,492 concerning Onequity Ltd, Onequity (MU) Ltd, Onequity SA (PTY) Ltd, Onequity Ltd (Santa Lucia), Onequity LLC and Oneq Global Ltd, which operate under the Onequity brand and the onequity.com website.

The act declares to the market and to the public that these entities are not authorized by the regulator to act as securities intermediaries or to raise funds from investors for investment in securities, as they are not part of the distribution system established by Article 15 of Law No. 6,385/1976. The CVM ordered the immediate suspension of any public offering, whether direct or indirect, to investors resident in Brazil, under a daily fine of R$ 1,000.00, without prejudice to liability for prior violations. The CVM's news release of December 5, 2025 reiterates the order.

What the act supports, and what it does not

The act supports the statement that the CVM found evidence of the conduct described and that the company lacks the authorization required for it. The act does not state that fraud occurred, nor that anyone lost money. This page records the regulator's warning and will begin recording vetted reports, should any come in.

If you invested or were approached

The CVM asks that you get in touch through its Citizen Assistance Service (Serviço de Atendimento ao Cidadão), providing details of the offering and identifying the people involved. If you sent money, keep the payment records and file a police report. If you paid in crypto, CyberX's wallet lookup is free.
