Winvest presents itself as "Wealth Invest Corp," an AI-operated bitcoin investment platform with a declared headquarters at One Vanderbilt in New York. The site, winvest.com, offers a "limited-time investment plan": 3% a day for 60 days, 180% in total, with "guaranteed daily profit," starting at US$10. Deposits and withdrawals are made in bitcoin. Every investor receives an "official share certificate," and the platform claims more than 14 million registered users and US$109 billion in withdrawals paid out.
In Brazil, Winvest arrived through the same affiliate network that had been promoting Taxinexo. On 2 October 2026, the Taxinexo affiliate channel on Telegram had been renamed "Winvest Launched on 22 February 2018" and was advertising "extra income from home," complete with a sign-up link and an invitation code. The site also lists a "representative" in Brazil, among dozens of countries.
What a study involving six regulators found
BrokerListings, a British firm that reviews brokers, picked Winvest as a test case and, on a single day, took its concerns to six regulators: the SEC and the CFTC in the United States, the FCA in the United Kingdom, CySEC in Cyprus, MAS in Singapore, and ASIC in Australia. In its report, updated on 13 July 2026, the firm lists ten red flags:
- A fixed 3% daily return — roughly 1,095% a year without compounding — presented as "guaranteed."
- More than US$105 billion in declared withdrawals, with no mention of the platform anywhere in the financial press.
- Urgency: the plan is supposedly available only "for a limited time."
- Bitcoin-only deposits, with no bank transfer option.
- Boilerplate reviews following a repeated template.
- More than 10 million declared users, with no trace in forums, press coverage, or regulatory filings.
- No authorisation from any regulator.
- Video testimonials with comments disabled.
- Two founding dates and three different headquarters.
- Logos of well-known companies displayed, none of which list Winvest as a partner.
As of the report's publication, none of the six regulators had taken public action — no investor alert, no entry on a warning list. An investment columnist at TribLIVE summarised the study on 29 June 2026.
The playbook
The playbook is that of a HYIP, a high-yield investment program: a fixed daily return that is far too high to be real, sustainable only while new money keeps coming in, plus commissions for anyone who brings in investors. Winvest pays 5% on a direct referral's deposit, 2% on the second tier, and 1% on the third. The site displays an "AI" trading dashboard and a list of recent withdrawals that refreshes every minute. In 2026, the platform also began selling its own token, the "WIN Token," with a promise of listings on crypto exchanges. News-styled articles published on cryptocurrency sites, some of them labelled as press releases, reinforce the façade.
Not to be confused with
WinVest Acquisition Corp., an acquisition company listed on Nasdaq, has no connection to the site winvest.com. In February 2023, the Philippine SEC issued a warning against a scheme also called Winvest, with a different site and a different plan; we found no link between the two.
What the sources support, and what they do not
They support the following: what the site promises and declares; that a fixed daily return is incompatible with regulated investment; that the platform was reported to six regulators in 2026; and that the affiliate network promoting Taxinexo moved on to promoting Winvest. They do not support claims about who operates the platform, how much was raised, or how many Brazilians invested. As of 2 October 2026, we found no CVM action naming the brand. No individual is named here.
If you were caught up in it
Do not deposit more money to "unlock" a withdrawal or to upgrade your plan. Save the bitcoin address you sent each deposit to, with the date and amount, along with screenshots of the dashboard and your conversations. File a police report. CyberX's wallet lookup is free and shows what is publicly known about the destination address.
